What We Do for Members
Local Continuing Education & Clinical Training
We host accredited continuing education (CE) workshops, clinical dinner lectures, and mandatory certification courses within Kenosha County — enabling member dentists, hygienists, and support staff to satisfy Wisconsin Dentistry Examining Board licensing requirements without travelling to Milwaukee or Chicago.
Advocacy & Legislative Representation
In coordination with the WDA, we represent local clinicians on key regulatory and legislative issues, advocating for policies that safeguard independent practice, ensure fair insurance practices, expand access to care, and protect high clinical care standards.
Interdisciplinary Peer Study Groups & Networking
Our society provides a professional collaborative forum for general practitioners and dental specialists — including periodontists, orthodontists, endodontists, pediatric dentists, and oral surgeons — fostering multi-specialty case planning, digital dentistry adoption, and seamless patient referral networks.
Community Oral Health Outreach & Literacy
Members participate in local health fairs, school-based fluoride and hygiene education programs, and targeted screening initiatives aimed at reducing care disparities among underserved and vulnerable populations in Southeast Wisconsin.
Governance & Tripartite Structure
Kenosha County Dental Society Inc is governed by an elected executive board of local practitioners who manage component operations and represent the district at the WDA House of Delegates.
